Touareg Will be Made in China by 2015

Source: WAIShanghai Volkswagen recently revealed that Touareg would be produced domestically in Shanghai Volkswagen, and was expected to be formally put into production in 2015 in order to enrich its product line in the SUV market.
According to overseas media previously, it was said that a whole new generation Touareg would debut in 2015. The new car is based on Volkswagen MLB Evo platform, and two different wheelbase models may be introduced. The standard wheelbase is 2895mm and the longer wheelbase is 3020mm. The new model is equipped with resetting 3.0TSI engines, whose power and fuel consumption are both better than the performance of the current models.
According to Shanghai Volkswagen, domestic-made Touareg is expected to improve the product lines and reduce the loss of existing customers. According to the current message, after the release of the new Touareg, it is expected to introduce domestic production at the same time.
